Description
Benjamin de Beauregard is the second wine of the prestigious Château Beauregard, located in the heart of the Pomerol appellation. Crafted from younger vines and a careful selection of parcels, it offers a more immediate and approachable expression of Beauregard’s outstanding terroir. While considered the estate’s second wine, it receives the same expertise and meticulous care as the Grand Vin, standing out with a charming, elegant, and generous style.
The blend, dominated by Merlot with a complement of Cabernet Franc, highlights the roundness and suppleness of the primary grape, enhanced by the freshness and complexity of the Cabernet Franc. Hand harvesting and parcel-by-parcel vinification in the estate’s gravity-flow cellar preserve the integrity of the fruit and reveal the full aromatic richness of each lot. Ageing, tailored to its approachable character, emphasizes finesse and purity while adding structure and harmony.
From its early years, Benjamin de Beauregard delights with an intense bouquet of red and black fruits, accented by floral tones and gentle spice. On the palate, it offers a velvety texture, supple tannins, and refreshing balance, making it both pleasurable and refined to drink. Thanks to this harmony, it can be enjoyed young for its vibrant fruit yet retains the ability to age gracefully over several years.
Benjamin de Beauregard is designed for lovers of great Pomerol wines seeking a more accessible experience without compromising on quality or elegance. It perfectly reflects the philosophy of the estate: producing authentic wines that remain faithful to their terroir and are crafted with constant care from vineyard to bottle.
